MacAllan’s Public House - This is a whiskey bar with a charming interior.

2. Carbon Canyon Regional Park

Carbon Canyon Regional Park is a large park perfect for gatherings. It also contains the Redwood Grove of Coastal Sequoias. The history of this small tree farm is fascinating, as Redwoods are not native to the area. Much of the trail is uncovered, so on a hot day, you’ll feel the temperature drop significantly once you start walking in the bowl of trees.

If you’re looking for a shortcut—park on Prospect avenue and walk down the trail. You’re welcome!

This is a great place for family photography, prom pics, or a casual Instagram shoot.
