1. Great Park (Irvine, CA)

Great Park is MASSIVE! It’s more like its own neighborhood within the city of Irvine than a regular park. Here, you can ride a giant helium balloon 400 feet up in there for free! There’s also an ice skating facility, a carousel, and numerous sports courts.

2. Tri-City Park (Placentia, CA)

Tri-City Park has a large, man-made lake, a playground, and ample green space for picnics.

3. Mile Square Regional Park (Fountain Valley, CA)

Mile Square Regional Park is 1 square mile or 640 acres.

4. Carbon Canyon Regional Park (Brea, CA)

Carbon Canyon Regional Park has the only grove of redwoods in southern California.
