Fisherman’s Cove is a small patch of secluded beach just north of Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, CA.

Despite its name, fishing is actually not allowed at Fisherman’s Cove (or anywhere in Laguna)—in fact, it is best known as an ideal location for snorkeling and scuba diving.

How to Get to Fisherman’s Cove

1) Through Shaw’s Cove. You’ll need to traverse some rocky terrain.

2) Head north on Cliff Drive past Picnic Beach and you’ll see this staircase. It will take you down “Boat Canyon” to Fisherman’s Cove.

Are dogs allowed at Fisherman’s Cove?

From June 15 to Sept 10, 9am to 6pm, dogs are not allowed on the beach.
