The Lost Inferno in San Clemente, CA: What to Expect

The Lost Inferno tiki bar opened in 2022 just a short walk from downtown San Clemente.

This tiki bar takes on the Goonies theme (if you’re scratching your head, The Goonies was a film from the 90s that followed a group of teenage misfits who go on a treasure hunt to save their homes from foreclosure.)

There are just a few free parking spaces in front of the venue, so you might end up having to find a spot on El Camino Real.

There are several seating options: bar, table, or grotto. When you make a reservation, you can indicate your seating preference.

One of the most popular drinks is the Chester Copperpot, basically a spicy margarita—not exactly a traditional tiki drink, but definitely a spectacle with the flaming lime topper!

Bottom line: The Lost Inferno is one of just a few tiki bars in Orange County and it doesn’t disappoint.
