The Blind Rabbit in Anaheim, CA: What to Expect (2024)

There aren’t too many true speakeasies in Orange County, CA. But The Blind Rabbit is not only a true speakeasy, it is (in our humble opinion) one of the best bars in Orange County.

Opened in 2014, The Blind Rabbit is located on the bottom floor of the Anaheim Packing House.

The easiest way to find it is to look for the Rolling Boil Shabu restaurant—it’s located to the left of that space, behind a wall of sake barrels.

When you first enter the space, you’ll notice it’s very dark! But don’t worry—after a few minutes your eyes should adjust.

The Blind Rabbit features a seasonal drink menu, so we won’t list all of the options that were available during my visit—but there’s pretty much something for everyone here, whether you like gin, absinthe, rum, or even non-alcoholic drinks.

The bartenders here are true craftsmen, so it might take more than a few minutes for you to receive your order—but it’s worth it!

Do you need a reservation?

Reservations are a MUST! We can’t stress this enough—this is a small venue and the demand is high. Make sure you reserve a time weeks in advance. You are highly unlikely to get a walk-in seating.

Is there a dress code?

No, there isn’t. People dress down, but elevated dress is encouraged. :)

OK, we trust you. What are some places like The Blind Rabbit?
