The Coolest Vintage Neon Signs in Orange County, CA

As Orange County, CA continues to evolve, vintage signs are gradually disappearing from our skyline.

We decided to compile a list of the coolest vintage neon signs that still exist in OC. Many of the ones we found are located in older Orange County cities like Anaheim.

Sahara Motel - Anaheim, CA

There’s a section along Beach Blvd with motels like this one.

Denny’s - San Clemente, CA

The Denny’s sign visible from the 5 freeway is an iconic South Orange County sign.

Arby’s - Huntington Beach, CA

This sign is located right across the street from the Bella Terra shopping center.

Angelo’s Hamburgers - Anaheim, CA

Vodie’s Wheel Alignment - Garden Grove, CA

Vodie’s is permanently closed but their sign is still intact. You can find many of these bear signs throughout the country. Apparently, the sign was originated by the Bear Manufacturing Company, which produced wheel alignment tools in the early 1900s. Auto shops using Bear’s method/tools proudly displayed the sign.

The Balboa Pharmacy sign was restored in 2009.
