Kid Beach in Newport Beach, CA: What to Expect

Looking for a beach that’s kid-friendly in Newport? Well, look no further than Kid Beach!

Kid Beach is a tiny strip of beach on the Balboa Peninsula that’s calm enough for kids to swim in thanks to the protection from the Newport Harbor jetties.

It is very small, and admittedly not nearly as pictureseque as some of the other nearby beaches. But the view of the harbor is lovely, allowing you to see boats as they come and go.

There is a public pier right in the middle of the beach.

There is also a section with seating and barbecues that is only available to members of the Balboa Peninsula Point Association.
